Gavin Wood brings over 20 years of experience across security, cloud operations, telecoms and software development, having held senior roles at organisations including Chess and Foursys. His focus is on pairing technical excellence with clear, practical guidance so organisations can strengthen their cyber security posture with confidence. An avid yachtsman, Gavin champions a people-first culture and leads CyberLab’s expert-led, consultative approach to protecting the nation, businesses and people.
David Pollock
Executive Chairman
David Pollock plays a central role in shaping CyberLab’s long-term strategy and growth. After leading the separation of Chess Cybersecurity from its parent group and overseeing the acquisition of multiple specialist cyber companies, he unified them under the CyberLab brand. With three decades of leadership experience and over 100 acquisitions at Chess, David now applies his proven track record in scaling businesses and accelerating growth to keep CyberLab well-positioned across the UK.
Tom Davies
Chief Financial Officer
Tom Davies partners closely with the Board and senior leadership team to drive sustainable growth, robust cashflow and strong financial governance. A proven change leader specialising in complex finance transformation, Tom has held senior finance roles in both PLCs and privately owned organisations, most recently as Group Financial Director at Chess. Passionate about making finance a true strategic partner, he brings a commercial, pragmatic lens to every decision he supports.

Marketing Director
Elena Doncheva leads end-to-end marketing strategy for CyberLab, owning brand, demand generation, new logo acquisition and sales enablement. With expertise spanning B2B and B2C marketing strategy, digital and content marketing, ABM, multi-channel campaigns and PR, she is particularly passionate about digital transformation and customer-centric marketing. Elena works closely with sales and the wider leadership team to bring data-driven initiatives to market that strengthen CyberLab’s position as a trusted, AI-powered cyber security partner.

Ryan Bradbury partners with organisations of every scale to deliver innovative, high-impact solutions that strengthen cyber security resilience. Steve Clarke leads the specialist testing function that underpins CyberLab’s technical capability. A seasoned penetration tester and CHECK Team Leader with seven years of hands-on experience, including four years at Armadillo Sec, Steve is a CREST Certified Infrastructure Tester who ensures every engagement is delivered with precision and clarity. He oversees CyberLab’s testing team across infrastructure, web applications, Active Directory and Operational Technology environments.
