Book the launchWhat Is the CyberLab Breakfast Club?

The CyberLab Breakfast Club is a free, monthly cyber security event in Manchester. It runs on the second Thursday of every month from 08:30 to 10:00 at DiSH, part of Barclays Eagle Labs, in Heron House, Lincoln Square. CyberLab hosts it, and each 90-minute session combines breakfast and networking, a briefing on the month’s cyber news, a live feature from a different CyberLab team, and an open-table Q&A with our experts.
CyberLab is a CREST, CHECK and NCSC-accredited cyber security consultancy trusted by more than 1,200 organisations across the UK. The Breakfast Club is our way of opening the doors, so anyone can see how real attacks work, what’s changing in the threat landscape and what it means for them.
Who Is It For?
The Breakfast Club is for anyone who wants to be more involved in the cyber security community. You don’t need a technical background, just an interest in how cyber threats work and how to stay safe.
You’ll find a mix of people in the room, including:
- Cyber security professionals who want to keep up with the latest threats and meet peers.
- IT and technology teams who look after security day to day.
- Business owners and leaders who want to understand the risks behind the headlines.
- Anyone curious about cyber security, no matter your story.

How Every Session Works
Ninety Minutes, Same Time, Same Place. Each month a different CyberLab team takes the floor, so you see the full breadth of what we do. The format stays the same, so you always know what to expect.
1 Breakfast and Networking 08:30
Coffee, pastries and conversation with people from across the region’s cyber community.
2 Cyber News 09:00
A short briefing on the month’s biggest cyber security stories and what they mean in practice.
3 The Monthly Feature 09:15
Live demos and real stories from a different CyberLab team each time.
4 Open-Table Q&A 09:45
Bring your questions. Our experts stay until the last one is answered.
