Anthropic Verifies CyberLab for Advanced AI in Cyber Defence
CyberLab Approved for Anthropic's Cyber Verification Program
CyberLab has been approved for Anthropic’s Cyber Verification Program, which lets vetted security organisations use Claude models for defensive security work.
Anthropic ships its public Claude models with cyber safeguards that refuse most security work, because attackers would find the same capability useful. Those safeguards come off only for organisations that can show what they intend to do with them, and in October 2026 Anthropic expanded the programme into three access tiers.
CyberLab holds Defense Access, which covers malware analysis, vulnerability validation and incident response.

Anthropic checked who we are and how we secure our accounts before approving us. We remain subject to the programme’s ongoing controls, including named approved users and monitoring for misuse.
Every finding is still reviewed by a CREST and CHECK accredited consultant before it reaches a client.
The approval follows our accreditation under CREST’s Security Testing of AI scheme on November 3rd, which named CyberLab one of the first four companies worldwide to achieve it.
