CyberLab Announce New Partnership with Island Enterprise Browser

New partnership to enable customers across the UK to improve their web security.

CyberLab today announce a new partnership with The Island Enterprise Browser, combining CyberLab’s expertise in UK cyber security with Island’s innovative proprietary software to provide an enhanced level of security to UK enterprise.

“We are delighted to welcome Island to our growing list of vendor partners.” Said Gavin Wood, CyberLab CEO. ” The Island Enterprise Browser has the potential to fundamentally alter how organisations architect their cyber security solutions, it brings to market the web security capabilities that IT departments have wanted for years.”

Island is the developer of the Enterprise Browser – the ideal enterprise workplace, where work flows freely while remaining fundamentally secure. With the core needs of the enterprise naturally embedded in the browser itself, Island gives organisations complete control, visibility, and governance over the last mile, while delivering the same smooth Chromium-based browser experience users expect.

“We are extremely excited to partner with CyberLab, with our technology and their team’s extensive customer relationships and focus on security we believe our joint customers will see significant value.” Said Charlotte Shone, Head of EMEA Channel at Island.

CyberLab customers can expect to benefit from features such as automatic authentication, dynamic policy enforcement, and robotic process automation enabling them to enforce policies dynamically based on device type, extend workflows and security controls over web applications, and capture every interaction between the user and the application.

Gartner predicts that “by 2030, enterprise browsers will be the core platform for delivering workforce productivity and security”.

Replacing common solutions like Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Remote Desktop Solutions (RDS), The Island Enterprise Browser has limitless applications – from providing secure access to third parties, enforcing compliance, and facilitating BYOD policies, to providing privileged access to completing a Zero Trust programme, providing additional control to privileged users, and addressing concerns around data leakage.

“For decades, organisations have globally utilised consumer browsers in the corporate computing environment,” said Mike Fey, co-founder and CEO of Island. “These organisations require strong control and governance, which consumer browsers were never built to deliver. Island uniquely provides manageability, control, security and enhanced productivity features from within the browser itself, while users enjoy a familiar browsing experience. We envision the Enterprise Browser fundamentally improving not just security, but enterprise work itself.”
